Michael and the Magic Ball
Forward: This is a story I wrote back when I was in middle school, it's about a ferret. I've owned ferrets all my life and back then at the time my grade was studying Greek mythology and many of us had an assignment of writing our own mythical stories inspired by the subject. So, this was what I came up with since I wanted to think of a legend that would relate to my favorite pets. Hope it doesn't seem too bad to you, not many works are done about ferrets after all. This is how it goes. The Story Michael was a young ferret that lived with the king Alexandria in North Egypt. His job was to keep rats out of the king’s palace. The king fed Michael some of the best food in the kingdom and made sure that he was taught how to be a good rat hunter in ferret school.
